11 January: Top 5 anticipated reads for Jan-Mar 2022

Top 5 Tuesday was created by Shanah at Bionic Book Worm, but now it is hosted by Meeghan at Meeghan Reads.

Last year, I created a list of 21 books and 21 ebooks I wanted to read in 2021 and I didn’t make great progress with these as I started mood reading a lot more. However, to help me narrow down the amount of books on my TBR to take away some of the indecision paralysis, here are 5 books I want to read in the first few months of this year.

Still Life by Sarah Winman

This book has featured on so many people’s top books of 2021 and I can’t wait to dive in!

The Chimp Paradox by Dr Steve Peters

My colleague very kindly bought me this book to help me see the way my mind works differently. I’m hoping it will put my on the right path for this year.

The Push by Ashley Audrain

I bought this book after I saw so many amazing things about it on Twitter last January and it has sat on my bookshelf for a year! Now is the time to pick it up.

The Best We Could Do by Thi Bui

I won a book of my choice through the Trope-ical Readathon giveaway and I chose this graphic novel. I’ve really enjoyed branching out into GNs and can’t wait to read more.

The Storyteller by Dave Grohl

I’m going to see Foo Fighters in June so I’d love to read the memoir by the frontman before I go.

I’d love to know what books you want to read over the coming months!

  1. Ooh, I have the audiobook of The Storyteller – Dave Grohl narrates it himself so I’m keen to listen to it. Also, have fun seeing the Foo Fighters live!! They always give such an epic show. Good luck with all of these, and I hope you had fun this week 💕
