Top 5 Books With People On The Cover
The theme of August is book covers. So far, I’ve done 5 books I love with building/vehicles, creatures, plants, and food on the cover. This week’s top 5 features people on the cover. I think this will be the most challenging to pick just 5 so maybe I will end up having some honorary mentions at the end!

We Need To Talk About Kevin
Kevin commits a school shooting. His mum wonders why. Is it nature or nurture? This book is super creepy and so well written.

It’s Not About The Burqa
A collection of essays about what it means to be a Muslim women. It’s essential reading. I found it eye opening and important.

Daisy Jones and the Six
This book is so worth the hype. I thought the characters were absolutely excellent and I loved the way it was told through interviews. I really want to read more by Taylor Jenkins Reid.

Educated
Tara Westover’s memoir is a testament to the power of education. Raised in rural America with a father believing in the imminent end of days, to going to university, Tara tells about her life in such a moving way.

The Martian
To be honest, I wouldn’t have picked up this book if it weren’t for seeing its insanely high Goodreads rating. I ADORED it. Funny and full of humanity, I recommend this book to everyone I meet!
Honorary Mentions

I still need to read Daisy Jones and the Six but I love the colours on the cover!
