WWW Wednesday – 18th November

Welcome to my second installment of WWW Wednesday! I hope you enjoyed reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it.

It’s been a busy last week, especially with work as it always is this time of year but I’ve managed to finish a couple books since last week and pick up a new ARC. So, without further ado, let’s get on with the post!

The 3 Ws

  1. What are you currently reading?
  2. What did you recently finish reading?
  3. What do you think you’ll read next?

Currently reading

Unfollow by Megan Phelps Roper

Unfortunately I have made much headway at all with this memoir, despite it being on last week’s post! It’s nothing against the book at all, I’ve just had a lot of other things going on, especially trying to finish an ARC last week. Maybe I’ll find time to continue this weekend as the first 2 chapters are great!

Deadline by Geoff Major

I’ve started Deadline this week as I will be reviewing in for a blog tour in a couple weeks time. It’s a crime novel set in Yorkshire over multiple years and multiple crimes. I’m not too far in yet but I’m excited about it because the author worked in the police so I’m hoping it will be realistic.

El espejo se rajo de parte a parte by Agatha Christie – ON HOLD

I’ve decided to put The Mirror Cracked From Side to Side on hold for now. As it’s in Spanish, I just don’t have the brain space right now to process it unfortunately. I’m going to save it for the Christmas holidays!

Recently Read

The Thursday Murder Club by Richard Osman

I’ve been listening to the audio book around the house and on my commute. This book had me laughing out loud, gasping at the twists, and even pounding my steering wheel in desperation to know what was going to happen next. This book was just the tonic for dark, lockdown November days. An absolute joy!

The Wrong Sort To Die by Paula Harmon

I read this ARC for the Damp Pebbles Blog Tour and loved it. You can find my review here.

Next Reads

Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury

This was on my list last week and shall remain until it gets read!

The Abominable Snowman by R A Montgomery

This month, the theme for book club is nostalgia so we are reading this choose your own adventure book! I’ve not read a book like this before but I’m really intrigued. The meeting is next Thursday but luckily it’s quite short!

So, there we have my round up for this week! What are you reading?
